Columbia Memorial Hospital is located in the upper Hudson Valley region of Upstate New York, 2 hours north of NY City and 30 minutes south of Albany, NY. It is a 192-bed facility with 40 outpatient care centers whose philosophy is “patients first,” emphasizing safety and quality in patient care. Job Description:
Summary/Objective: We are looking for a full-time Pediatrician for our growing rural practices in Greene and Columbia County. The position is in the outpatient environment only. The applicant would be part of a large group practice but in small satellite offices within a large hospital-owned multispecialty group. You will enjoy an excellent collegial environment with seasoned, well-respected physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants in the practice. You would be part of an active Pediatric department that meets regularly to collaborate and shape the direction of our quality goals. There is outstanding specialty support, and with our Albany Medical Center affiliation, every specialty is at your service.
Setting Type (in or outpatient or both): Outpatient only. We strive to maintain a family feel to the group and we have put a lot of effort into avoiding the large corporate feel that medicine has become.
Facility Description: Outpatient practices located in Valatie, Hudson, and Catskill, NY.
Other Staff (MDs, DOs, NP/PAs, MAs): There are 2 Pediatricians and 5 Advanced Practice Practitioners covering three offices. Your location would be in the Hudson and Catskill offices. Hudson offices.
Patients Per Day: Variable, but we would like you to see 18-20 patients per day. Depending upon the hours worked each day, the volume would change. It also varies with the volume of new patients, which often takes longer. We offer 80% Clinical time and 20% Administrative time to all our practitioners.

Call: Schedule: On average, one in 5-6.

Columbia Memorial Hospital, a not-for-profit organization, employs over 200 physicians and advanced practice providers (NP, PA, CNM) on our three campuses in Hudson, Valatie, and Catskill, New York. Compensation will range between $171,000 – $291,000 based on experience. Additional compensation will be paid through a productivity-based incentive program.
