GYN Surgeon
Columbia Memorial Health (CMH) is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Gynecologist/Gynecological Surgeon to join our dedicated Women’s Health team in the historic and scenic Hudson Valley. As the primary referral hospital for Columbia and Greene counties, CMH provides a unique opportunity to practice high-quality, patient-centered care in a rural setting while being backed by the robust resources of the Albany Med Health System.
This role is ideal for a surgeon who values autonomy and community impact. You will provide a full spectrum of gynecological services, from routine preventive care to advanced minimally invasive surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Excellence: Provide comprehensive gynecological care to a diverse rural population, managing both routine and high-risk conditions.
- Surgical Leadership: Perform advanced gynecological surgeries, including laparoscopic (e.g., hysterectomies and myomectomies).
- Collaborative Care: Act as a key specialist within our referral network, working closely with primary care providers and emergency departments in the Twin County area.
- Modern Facilities: Utilize our state-of-the-art operating rooms in Hudson and the upcoming Catskill Surgical Center (opening 2027) for same-day procedures.
- System Integration: Leverage a single, unified electronic medical record (Epic) to coordinate care seamlessly with specialists at Albany Medical Center and other system partners.
Qualifications
- Education: MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
- Board Status: BC/BE in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Skills: Proficiency in minimally invasive surgical techniques (Robotic/Laparoscopic) is highly preferred.

Compensation will range between $325 – $375k based on experience. Additional compensation will be paid through a productivity-based incentive program.
