QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent, medical assistant training
preferred.

License/Certifications: None

Experience: Prior medical experience preferred.

Responsible to: On-site provider and the office manager.

Responsible for: None

SUMMARY: The Scribe may assist the provider to ensure an accurate and
complete medical record for each patient. The Scribe may assist the medical
provider by accompanying them during the medical history-taking and exam,
recording both into the electronic medical record and coordinate resources
regarding tests and orders. The scribe may schedule appointments, check in and
out patients, communicate with patients either by phone, in person, or
electronically.

Salary Range: $18.00 – $28.84
