Education:
Continuing education programs related to Infection Control, Epidemiology,
Staff Health and Occupational Health
Registered Nurse

Licenses/Certifications:
NYS Registered Nurse License
National Certification by certification Board of Infection Control within two
(2) years of hire recommended.

Experience:
Prefer a minimum of two (2) years experience in Infection Control and/or
Epidemiology
Familiar with computer data systems
Age Range of Patients Served: Serves all ages, newborn through geriatric.

Summary:
The Staff Health/Infection Control manager participates with the Infection
Control Committee within Columbia Memorial Hospital in coordinating activity to
assure there is maintenance of infection control measures and a safe
environment of patients, staff, and visitors. Is responsible for meeting NY
State Department of Health Codes and OSHA regulations as they pertain to Staff
Health and Occupational Health. Also, planning, implementing, and evaluating
the care and health maintenance of all employees.

Salary Range: $24.72 – $39.01
