DIRECTOR OF HOSPITAL FOUNDATION – 11741
Requirements:
Education:
A Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree preferred. Advanced degree
welcomed.
Experience:
Minimum of five years working in not-for-profit fundraising with demonstrated
success in raising significant contributions from individuals, businesses and
grant making organizations.
Experience in strategic planning, creating marketing materials, public
speaking, management of staff, project management, preparing and evaluating
financial reports.
Demonstrated skills in human relations, initiative, organization, teamwork,
ethical behavior, personal integrity and goal orientation.

President & CEO of Columbia Memorial Hospital
Hospital Foundation Board of Directors
Responsible for:
Foundation Staff.
Summary:
Columbia Memorial Health Foundation is a non-for-profit fund-raising arm of
Columbia Memorial Health, an affiliate of the Albany Med Health System. A Board
of Trustees has oversight of the CMH Foundation. The Director of Hospital
Foundation has the responsibility to promote a positive image of CMH and raise
funds, to be principally used for capital improvements. This position requires
someone who can work independently and think strategically but will request
assistance or consult as needed to achieve designated goals. Evening and
weekend work is necessary. Some travel may be required to meet donors or
potential donors.
The Director of Hospital Foundation is a member of the CMH Executive Staff. As
a member of this team, the Director of Hospital Foundation will be
knowledgeable of CMH s mission, strategy, structure, short- and long-term goals
and use this information to keep the Foundation aligned with CMH.
Salary Range: $50.10 – $77.00
