DIRECTOR PATIENT ACCESS – 11631

SUMMARY The Patient Access Service Director will have oversight of Access
Service Locations (including: Practice/Provider Locations, Hospital Ancillary
and Admission Units, Emergency Department (24 x 7 x 365) with responsibility
for the best practice process as it relates to the Revenue Cycle including
in-patient and outpatient services, emergency department related to
registration, bed placement, cash collection, financial counseling, uninsured
and under insured insurance program enrollment, insurance verification,
insurance authorization, training and development, quality monitoring. This
position works closely with clinical administration staff of the
organization/system to ensure patient flow is managed with maximum efficiency.
Development of the strategy and vision for the strongest operational flow for
the optimal patient, provider and staff engagements as well as best practice
tenets of financial and revenue cycle management.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor s Degree Business, Healthcare Management, or an
Associate s Degree with requisite experience to support the level of knowledge
necessary for the position.
Experience: 8-10 years progressive management experience in health access
management including Acute Care Hospital, Hospital based Clinic or Practice
Management including but not limited to patient financial counseling,
scheduling, registration, authorization and pre-service workflows.

Salary Range: $48.00 – $71.00
